Assalamualaikum semua, apa khabar? Kami sekeluarga dah selamat tiba dan sentiasa dikunjungi saudara mara yg dah lama tak kami jumpa. Thank you Puan and kawan-kawan semua, thanks to all your families and friends for the endless farewells and goodbyes at the hotel, at the airport, the gifts, some tak sempat dibalas.... So hanya tuhan yg membalasnya.

Our Puan Sharimahton is leaving us to continue her service back in Malaysia. Perwakilan organized a farewell lunch for her at Barn Rau Thai. Scrumptious, spicy food.... ended with watery eyes to some and full tummy.....

To Puan Sharimahton, hope that the friendship will be kept alive throughout the coming years, even though we are now on opposite ends of the country. Do keep in touch. Again, thanks for everything from Perwakilan. Best wishes to you and your family.

Bowling is an activity that has been around for many years and has been equally accessible in all areas. I admit, I rarely think about going bowling myself... but it is a great activity for a get together.

Perwakilan Los Angeles organized a bowling outing, thanks to our Puan Puteri Rozzana for arranging the event, a good bowling center with an excellent service by the staff. It was indeed another great outing amongst perwakilan members. Hopefully all members had enjoyable time together.

The meeting was held at Shana's house. It was a good meeting and we celebrated three of our members birthday; Puan Suaidah, Cik Robinder & Puan Islina. Unforturnately two of them were unable to attend the meeting. 

We would also like to welcome our new member Puan Norliyusma Yusoff, wife of MAS Customer Service Manager. They were formerly from New York for two years before posted to Los Angeles. They are blessed with 4 children; two daughters & two son. The eldest is currently studying in Sultan Ismail College (SIC) in Kota Bharu, Kelantan.  

The meeting was then adjourned around 1pm, followed by a refreshment and Decoupage class.

The Perwakilan members would like to welcome its new member, Puan Norli to our circle.

Here's an introduction from Puan Norli herself:

Nama saya Norliyusma Yusoff berasal dari Teluk Intan, Perak tetapi menetap di Kota Bharu. Mempunyai 4 orang cahaya mata (2 lelaki & 2perempuan). 

Sebelum berpindah di LA, saya berada di New York selama 2 tahun.  Suami, En. Zainul Rizam Mohd Zawawi bekerja di Malaysia Airlines sebagai Customer Service Manager, North America. 

Sebelum menjadi surirumah sepenuh masa, saya pernah bekerja di Institusi Kewangan ( Arab-Malaysia Finance Bhd) and di Syarikat Bursa Saham (SJSecurities S/B & Fima Securities Bhd).

Welcome, and hope you will enjoy your time with us.

It was a day of fun and laughter when the ladies met for a two hour session of bowling at Gamble House Bowling Center in Torrance on March 21, 2009.

The purpose of the session was to spend some fun time together while selecting the best bowlers to represent the group for future tournaments.

The highest scoring bowlers were selected and they are:

2. Pn. Siti Fatimah

3. Pn. Puteri Rozzana

4. Pn. Siti Zainab

5. Pn. Fadhlin

6. Pn. Kamsiah (reserve)

After the bowling session ended, the ladies convened at Puan Rozzana's house in neighboring Palos Verdes where they had lunch, followed by a lesson in making beaded costume jewelry. Some of the ladies who tried their hands at it got to take home their creations.
